Blood Donation Drive - St. George Indian Orthodox Church, Brisbane

Brisbane, Australia – St. George Indian Orthodox Church (SGIOC), in collaboration with the Orthodox Christian Youth Movement (OCYM) and the Mar Gregorios Orthodox Christian Student Movement (MGOCSM), is organizing a Blood Donation Drive in association with Red Cross Australia. The drive is scheduled for Sunday, 20th October 2024, starting from 7:30 AM onwards, and aims to encourage community members to donate blood and contribute to saving lives.

The event will take place at 479 Mount Petrie Road, MacKenzie, QLD 4156, and is open to participants aged 18-75 years. Organizers are urging volunteers to come forward, as each blood donation has the potential to save multiple lives in need of medical care.

The initiative is being led by both youth organizations, OCYM and MGOCSM, with convenors from both groups coordinating the event.
