MMVS Wellness Clinic – 7 Sept 2025 | St George Indian Orthodox Church Brisbane
Brisbane, 7 September 2025 – The Martha Mariam Vanitha Samajam (MMVS) of St George Indian Orthodox Church, Brisbane, successfully organised a Wellness Clinic after the Holy Qurbana on Sunday.
The program offered Blood Pressure (BP) and Blood Sugar checks for parishioners, encouraging everyone to monitor their health and take preventive steps towards a healthy lifestyle. Church members of all ages attended, making it a wonderful community event focused on both awareness and early detection.
Volunteer medical professionals and MMVS members collaborated to ensure a smooth and caring experience for all participants. The event highlighted the church’s commitment to the holistic well-being of its congregation — spiritually, mentally, and physically.
This initiative served as a gentle reminder that maintaining good health is part of our Christian calling, enabling us to serve God and others faithfully. The parish looks forward to more wellness programs from MMVS in the future.
