SWAAD 2025 Lucky Draw Held at St George Indian Orthodox Church, Brisbane

Brisbane, 10 August 2025 – The St George Indian Orthodox Church, Brisbane, hosted the much-awaited SWAAD 2025 Lucky Draw today, following the Holy Qurbana. The event was attended by parishioners, well-wishers, and the dedicated SWAAD team, with the parish vicar, Rev. Fr. Anish Mathew, presiding.

SWAAD 2025, held on 31 May 2025, was the church’s vibrant Indian Food Festival, drawing large crowds to enjoy authentic cuisine, cultural fellowship, and community spirit. The festival was a resounding success, thanks to the tireless efforts of the organising team and volunteers.

During the lucky draw, winners were announced to cheers and applause, with Rev. Fr. Anish Mathew congratulating them and expressing gratitude to all who contributed to the festival’s success. He praised the SWAAD team for their dedication, and acknowledged the sponsors and supporters whose generosity helped make both the food festival and the lucky draw possible.
