Welcome of Rev. Fr. Anish Mathew by SDOF at St George Indian Orthodox Church Brisbane
Brisbane | 27 July 2025 — The St Dionysius Orthodox Fellowship (SDOF) extended a heartfelt welcome to the newly appointed parish vicar, Rev. Fr. Anish Mathew, during their monthly fellowship meeting held at St George Indian Orthodox Church, Brisbane.
A floral tribute was presented by Veena Boby on behalf of the fellowship, with SDOF Secretary Bijoy Mathew also present. The community gathered warmly to honour Fr. Anish and mark the beginning of his pastoral service in Brisbane.
Following the welcome, attendees participated in an interactive financial awareness session titled “Finance & Mortgage Insights”, led by Sunil Jacob, a finance and mortgage consultant from Relianz Home Loans and Financials Pty Ltd. The session covered key topics including:

The session was open to all, offering a friendly and no-pressure environment for learning and discussion. It proved both insightful and engaging, contributing to the practical well-being of the parish community alongside their spiritual life.
