¹Then he brought me back by the way of the outer gate of the sanctuary, which looks toward the east; and it was shut.

²Yahweh said to me, “This gate shall be shut. It shall not be opened, no man shall enter in by it; for Yahweh, the God of Israel, has entered in by it. Therefore it shall be shut.

³As for the prince, he shall sit in it as prince to eat bread before Yahweh. He shall enter by the way of the porch of the gate, and shall go out the same way.”

¹അനന്തരം അവൻ എന്നെ വിശുദ്ധമന്ദിരത്തിന്റെ കിഴക്കോട്ടു ദർശനമുള്ള പുറത്തെ ഗോപുരത്തിലേക്കു മടക്കിക്കൊണ്ടുവന്നു; എന്നാൽ അതു അടെച്ചിരുന്നു.

²അപ്പോൾ യഹോവ എന്നോടു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തതു: ഈ ഗോപുരം തുറക്കാതെ അടെച്ചിരിക്കേണം; ആരും അതിൽകൂടി കടക്കരുതു; യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ അതിൽകൂടി അകത്തു കടന്നതുകൊണ്ടു അതു അടെച്ചിരിക്കേണം.

³പ്രഭുവോ അവൻ പ്രഭുവായിരിക്കയാൽ യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ ഭോജനം കഴിപ്പാൻ അവിടെ ഇരിക്കേണം; അവൻ ആ ഗോപുരത്തിന്റെ പൂമുഖത്തുകൂടി അകത്തു കടക്കയും അതിൽകൂടി പുറത്തു പോകയും വേണം.

¹¹Yahweh, the Holy One of Israel

¹²I have made the earth, and created man on it.

¹³I have raised him up in righteousness,

¹⁴Yahweh says: “The labor of Egypt,

¹⁵Most certainly you are a God who has hidden yourself,

¹⁶They will be disappointed,

¹⁷Israel will be saved by Yahweh with an everlasting salvation.

¹⁸For Yahweh who created the heavens,

¹⁹I have not spoken in secret,

¹¹യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ പരിശുദ്ധനും അവനെ നിർമ്മിച്ചവനുമായ യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: വരുവാനുള്ളതിനെക്കുറിച്ചു എന്നോടു ചോദിപ്പിൻ ; എന്റെ മക്കളെയും എന്റെ കൈകളുടെ പ്രവൃത്തിയെയും കുറിച്ചു എന്നോടു കല്പിപ്പിൻ .

¹²ഞാൻ ഭൂമിയെ ഉണ്ടാക്കി അതിൽ മനുഷ്യനെയും സൃഷ്ടിച്ചു; എന്റെ കൈ തന്നേ ആകാശത്തെ വിരിച്ചു അതിലെ സകലസൈന്യത്തെയും ഞാൻ കല്പിച്ചാക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നു.

¹³ഞാൻ നീതിയിൽ അവനെ ഉണർത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു അവന്റെ വഴികളെ ഒക്കെയും ഞാൻ നിരപ്പാക്കും; അവൻ എന്റെ നഗരം പണിയും; വിലയും സമ്മാനവും വാങ്ങാതെ അവൻ എന്റെ പ്രവാസികളെ വിട്ടയക്കും എന്നു സൈന്യങ്ങളുടെ യഹോവ അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.

¹⁴യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: മിസ്രയീമിന്റെ അദ്ധ്വാനഫലവും കൂശിന്റെ വ്യാപാരലാഭവും ദീർഘകായന്മാരായ സെബായരും നിന്റെ അടുക്കൽ കടന്നുവന്നു നിനക്കു കൈവശമാകും; അവൻ നിന്റെ പിന്നാലെ നടക്കും; ചങ്ങലയിട്ടവരായി അവർ കടന്നുവരും; അവർ നിന്നെ വണങ്ങി; നിന്റെ മദ്ധ്യ മാത്രമേ ദൈവമുള്ളു; അവനല്ലാതെ വേറൊരു ദൈവവും ഇല്ല എന്നിങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞു നിന്നോടു യാചിക്കും.

¹⁵യിസ്രായേലിന്റെ ദൈവവും രക്ഷിതാവും ആയുള്ളോവേ, നീ മറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്ന ദൈവം ആകുന്നു സത്യം.

¹⁶അവർ എല്ലാവരും ലജ്ജിച്ചു അമ്പരന്നുപോകും, വിഗ്രഹങ്ങളെ ഉണ്ടാക്കുന്നവർ ഒരുപോലെ അമ്പരപ്പിൽ ആകും.

¹⁷യിസ്രായേലോ യഹോവയാൽ നിത്യരക്ഷയായി രക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടും നിങ്ങൾ ഒരുനാളും ലജ്ജിക്കയില്ല, അമ്പരന്നു പോകയും ഇല്ല.

¹⁸ആകാശത്തെ സൃഷ്ടിച്ച യഹോവ ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു -- അവൻ തന്നേ ദൈവം; അവൻ ഭൂമിയെ നിർമ്മിച്ചുണ്ടാക്കി; അവൻ അതിനെ ഉറപ്പിച്ചു; വ്യർത്ഥമായിട്ടല്ല അവൻ അതിനെ സൃഷ്ടിച്ചതു; പാർപ്പിന്നത്രേ അതിനെ നിർമ്മിച്ചതു:-- ഞാൻ തന്നേ യഹോവ; വേറൊരുത്തനും ഇല്ല.

¹⁹ഞാൻ രഹസ്യത്തിൽ അന്ധകാരപ്രദേശത്തു വെച്ചല്ല സംസാരിച്ചതു; ഞാൻ യാക്കോബിന്റെ സന്തതിയോടു: വ്യർത്ഥമായി എന്നെ അന്വേഷിപ്പിൻ എന്നല്ല കല്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നതു; യഹോവയായ ഞാൻ നീതി സംസാരിക്കുന്നു, നേരുള്ളതു പ്രസ്താവിക്കുന്നു.

²²But when someone stronger attacks him and overcomes him, he takes from him his whole armor in which he trusted, and divides his plunder.

²³“He who is not with me is against me. He who doesn’t gather with me scatters.

²⁴The unclean spirit, when he has gone out of the man, passes through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he says, ‘I will turn back to my house from which I came out.’

²⁵When he returns, he finds it swept and put in order.

²⁶Then he goes and takes seven other spirits more evil than himself, and they enter in and dwell there. The last state of that man becomes worse than the first.”

²⁷It came to pass, as he said these things, a certain woman out of the multitude lifted up her voice and said to him, “Blessed is the womb that bore you, and the breasts which nursed you!”

²⁸But he said, “On the contrary, blessed are those who hear the word of God, and keep it.”

²²അവനിലും ബലവാനായവൻ വന്നു അവനെ ജയിച്ചു എങ്കിലോ അവൻ ആശ്രയിച്ചിരുന്ന സർവ്വായുധവർഗ്ഗം പിടിച്ചുപറിച്ചു അവന്റെ കൊള്ള പകുതി ചെയ്യുന്നു.

²³എനിക്കു അനുകൂലമല്ലാത്തവൻ എനിക്കു പ്രതിക്കുലം ആകുന്നു; എന്നോടുകൂടെ ചേർക്കാത്തവൻ ചിതറിക്കുന്നു.

²⁴അശുദ്ധാത്മാവു ഒരു മനുഷ്യനെ വിട്ടുപോയിട്ടു നീരില്ലാത്ത പ്രദേശങ്ങളിൽ തണുപ്പു തിരഞ്ഞുനടക്കുന്നു. കാണാഞ്ഞിട്ടു: ഞാൻ വിട്ടുപോന്ന വീട്ടിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിച്ചെല്ലും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു ചെന്നു,

²⁵അതു അടിച്ചുവാരിയും അലങ്കരിച്ചും കാണുന്നു.

²⁶അപ്പോൾ അവൻ പോയി തന്നിലും ദുഷ്ടത ഏറിയ ഏഴു ആത്മാക്കളെ കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടു വരുന്നു; അവയും അതിൽ കടന്നു പാർത്തിട്ടു ആ മനുഷ്യന്റെ പിന്നത്തെ സ്ഥിതി മുമ്പിലത്തേതിനേക്കാൾ വല്ലാതെയായി ഭവിക്കും.

²⁷ഇതു പറയുമ്പോൾ പുരുഷാരത്തിൽ ഒരു സ്ത്രീ ഉച്ചത്തിൽ അവനോടു: നിന്നെ ചുമന്ന ഉദരവും നീ കുടിച്ച മുലയും ഭാഗ്യമുള്ളവ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

²⁸അതിന്നു അവൻ : അല്ല, ദൈവത്തിന്റെ വചനം കേട്ടു പ്രമാണിക്കുന്നവർ അത്രേ ഭാഗ്യവാന്മാർ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

⁴⁶While he was yet speaking to the multitudes, behold, his mother and his brothers stood outside, seeking to speak to him.

⁴⁷One said to him, “Behold, your mother and your brothers stand outside, seeking to speak to you.”

⁴⁸But he answered him who spoke to him, “Who is my mother? Who are my brothers?”

⁴⁹He stretched out his hand toward his disciples, and said, “Behold, my mother and my brothers!

⁵⁰For whoever does the will of my Father who is in heaven, he is my brother, and sister, and mother.”

⁴⁶അവൻ പുരുഷാരത്തോടു സംസാരിച്ചു കൊണ്ടിരിക്കയിൽ അവന്റെ അമ്മയും സഹോദരന്മാരും അവനോടു സംസാരിപ്പാൻ ആഗ്രഹിച്ചു പുറത്തു നിന്നു.

⁴⁷ഒരുത്തൻ അവനോടു: നിന്റെ അമ്മയും സഹോദരന്മാരും നിന്നോടു സംസാരിപ്പാൻ ആഗ്രഹിച്ചു പുറത്തുനിലക്കുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

⁴⁸അതു പറഞ്ഞവനോടു അവൻ : “എന്റെ അമ്മ ആർ എന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാർ ആർ” എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.

⁴⁹ശിഷ്യന്മാരുടെ നേരെ കൈ നീട്ടി: “ഇതാ, എന്റെ അമ്മയും എന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരും.

⁵⁰സ്വർഗ്ഗസ്ഥനായ എന്റെ പിതാവിന്റെ ഇഷ്ടം ചെയ്യുന്നവൻ എന്റെ സഹോദരനും സഹോദരിയും അമ്മയും ആകുന്നു” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

²⁵But standing by Jesus’ cross were his mother, his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene.

²⁶Therefore when Jesus saw his mother, and the disciple whom he loved standing there, he said to his mother, “Woman, behold, your son!”

²⁷Then he said to the disciple, “Behold, your mother!” From that hour, the disciple took her to his own home.

²⁵യേശുവിന്റെ ക്രൂശിന്നരികെ അവന്റെ അമ്മയും അമ്മയുടെ സഹോദരിയും ക്ളെയോപ്പാവിന്റെ ഭാര്യ മറിയയും മഗ്ദലക്കാരത്തി മറിയയും നിന്നിരുന്നു.

²⁶യേശു തന്റെ അമ്മയും താൻ സ്നേഹിച്ച ശിഷ്യനും നിലക്കുന്നതു കണ്ടിട്ടു: സ്ത്രീയേ, ഇതാ നിന്റെ മകൻ എന്നു അമ്മയോടു പറഞ്ഞു.

²⁷പിന്നെ ശിഷ്യനോടു: ഇതാ നിന്റെ അമ്മ എന്നും പറഞ്ഞു. ആ നാഴികമുതൽ ആ ശിഷ്യൻ അവളെ തന്റെ വീട്ടിൽ കൈക്കൊണ്ടു.
