¹After these things, Jesus revealed himself again to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias. He revealed himself this way.

²Simon Peter, Thomas called Didymus, Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, and the sons of Zebedee, and two others of his disciples were together.

³Simon Peter said to them, “I’m going fishing.”

⁴But when day had already come, Jesus stood on the beach; yet the disciples didn’t know that it was Jesus.

⁵Jesus therefore said to them, “Children, have you anything to eat?”

⁶He said to them, “Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some.”

⁷That disciple therefore whom Jesus loved said to Peter, “It’s the Lord!”

⁸But the other disciples came in the little boat (for they were not far from the land, but about two hundred cubits away), dragging the net full of fish.

⁹So when they got out on the land, they saw a fire of coals there, with fish and bread laid on it.

¹⁰Jesus said to them, “Bring some of the fish which you have just caught.”

¹¹Simon Peter went up, and drew the net to land, full of one hundred fifty-three great fish. Even though there were so many, the net wasn’t torn.

¹²Jesus said to them, “Come and eat breakfast!”

¹³Then Jesus came and took the bread, gave it to them, and the fish likewise.

¹⁴This is now the third time that Jesus was revealed to his disciples after he had risen from the dead.

¹അതിന്റെ ശേഷം യേശു പിന്നെയും തിബെർയ്യാസ് കടൽക്കരയിൽ വെച്ചു ശിഷ്യന്മാർക്കും പ്രത്യക്ഷനായി; പ്രത്യക്ഷനായതു ഈ വിധം ആയിരുന്നു:

²ശിമോൻ പത്രൊസും ദിദിമൊസ് എന്ന തോമാസും ഗലീലയിലുള്ള കാനയിലെ നഥനയേലും സെബെദിമക്കളും അവന്റെ ശിഷ്യന്മാരിൽ വേറെ രണ്ടുപേരും ഒരുമിച്ചു കൂടിയിരുന്നു.

³ശിമോൻ പത്രൊസ് അവരോടു: ഞാൻ മീൻ പിടിപ്പാൻ പോകുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു; ഞങ്ങളും പോരുന്നു എന്നു അവർ പറഞ്ഞു. അവർ പുറപ്പെട്ടു പടകു കയറി പോയി; ആ രാത്രിയിൽ ഒന്നും പിടിച്ചില്ല.

⁴പുലർച്ച ആയപ്പോൾ യേശു കരയിൽ നിന്നിരുന്നു; യേശു ആകുന്നു എന്നു ശിഷ്യന്മാർ അറിഞ്ഞില്ല.

⁵യേശു അവരോടു: കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളേ, കൂട്ടുവാൻ വല്ലതും ഉണ്ടോ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു; ഇല്ല എന്നു അവർ ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

⁶പടകിന്റെ വലത്തുഭാഗത്തു വല വീശുവിൻ ; എന്നാൽ നിങ്ങൾക്കു കിട്ടും എന്നു അവൻ അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞു; അവർ വീശി, മീനിന്റെ പെരുപ്പം ഹേതുവായി അതു വലിപ്പാൻ കഴിഞ്ഞില്ല.

⁷യേശു സ്നേഹിച്ച ശിഷ്യൻ പത്രൊസിനോടു: അതു കർത്താവു ആകുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു; കർത്താവു ആകുന്നു എന്നു ശിമോൻ പത്രൊസ് കേട്ടിട്ടു, താൻ നഗ്നനാകയാൽ അങ്കി അരയിൽ ചുറ്റി കടലിൽ ചാടി.

⁸ശേഷം ശിഷ്യന്മാർ കരയിൽ നിന്നു ഏകദേശം ഇരുനൂറു മുഴത്തിൽ അധികം ദൂരത്തല്ലായ്കയാൽ മീൻ നിറഞ്ഞ വല ഇഴെച്ചുംകൊണ്ടു ചെറിയ പടകിൽ വന്നു.

⁹കരെക്കു ഇറെങ്ങിയപ്പോൾ അവർ തീക്കനലും അതിന്മേൽ മീൻ വെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നതും അപ്പവും കണ്ടു.

¹⁰യേശു അവരോടു: ഇപ്പോൾ പിടിച്ച മീൻ ചിലതു കൊണ്ടുവരുവിൻ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

¹²യേശു അവരോടു: വന്നു പ്രാതൽ കഴിച്ചുകൊൾവിൻ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു; കർത്താവാകുന്നു എന്നു അറിഞ്ഞിട്ടു ശിഷ്യന്മാരിൽ ഒരുത്തനും: നീ ആർ എന്നു അവനോടു ചോദിപ്പാൻ തുനിഞ്ഞില്ല.

¹³യേശു വന്നു അപ്പം എടുത്തു അവർക്കും കൊടുത്തു; മീനും അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ യേശു മരിച്ചവരിൽ നിന്നു ഉയിർത്തെഴുന്നേറ്റശേഷം ഇങ്ങനെ മൂന്നാം പ്രാവശ്യം ശിഷ്യന്മാർക്കും പ്രത്യക്ഷനായി.

²⁶Yahweh said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand over the sea, that the waters may come again on the Egyptians, on their chariots, and on their horsemen.”

²⁷Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to its strength when the morning appeared; and the Egyptians fled against it. Yahweh overthrew the Egyptians in the middle of the sea.

²⁸The waters returned, and covered the chariots and the horsemen, even all Pharaoh’s army that went in after them into the sea. There remained not so much as one of them.

²⁹But the children of Israel walked on dry land in the middle of the sea, and the waters were a wall to them on their right hand and on their left.

³⁰Thus Yahweh saved Israel that day out of the hand of the Egyptians; and Israel saw the Egyptians dead on the seashore.

³¹Israel saw the great work which Yahweh did to the Egyptians, and the people feared Yahweh; and they believed in Yahweh and in his servant Moses.

²⁶അപ്പോൾ യഹോവ മോശെയോടു: വെള്ളം മിസ്രയീമ്യരുടെ മേലും അവരുടെ രഥങ്ങളിൻ മേലും കുതിരപ്പടയുടെമേലും മടങ്ങി വരേണ്ടതിന്നു കടലിന്മേൽ കൈനീട്ടുക എന്നു കല്പിച്ചു.

²⁷മോശെ കടലിന്മേൽ കൈ നീട്ടി; പുലർച്ചെക്കു കടൽ അതിന്റെ സ്ഥിതിയിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിവന്നു. മിസ്രയീമ്യർ അതിന്നു എതിരായി ഔടി; യഹോവ മിസ്രയീമ്യരെ കടലിന്റെ നടുവിൽ തള്ളിയിട്ടു.

²⁸വെള്ളം മടങ്ങിവന്നു അവരുടെ പിന്നാലെ കടലിലേക്കു ചെന്നിരുന്ന രഥങ്ങളെയും കുതിരപ്പടയെയും ഫറവോന്റെ സൈന്യത്തെയും എല്ലാം മുക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞു; അവരിൽ ഒരുത്തൻ പോലും ശേഷിച്ചില്ല.

²⁹യിസ്രായേൽമക്കൾ കടലിന്റെ നടുവെ ഉണങ്ങിയ നിലത്തുകൂടി കടന്നുപോയി; വെള്ളം അവരുടെ ഇടത്തും വലത്തും മതിലായി നിന്നു.

³¹യഹോവ മിസ്രയീമ്യരിൽ ചെയ്ത ഈ മഹാപ്രവൃത്തി യിസ്രായേല്യർ കണ്ടു; ജനം യഹോവയെ ഭയപ്പെട്ടു, യഹോവയിലും അവന്റെ ദാസനായ മോശെയിലും വിശ്വസിച്ചു.

⁹The armed men went before the priests who blew the trumpets, and the ark went after them. The trumpets sounded as they went.

¹⁰Joshua commanded the people, saying, “You shall not shout nor let your voice be heard, neither shall any word proceed out of your mouth until the day I tell you to shout. Then you shall shout.”

¹¹So he caused Yahweh’s ark to go around the city, circling it once. Then they came into the camp, and stayed in the camp.

¹²Joshua rose early in the morning, and the priests took up Yahweh’s ark.

¹³The seven priests bearing the seven trumpets of rams’ horns in front of Yahweh’s ark went on continually, and blew the trumpets. The armed men went in front of them. The rear guard came after Yahweh’s ark. The trumpets sounded as they went.

¹⁴The second day they marched around the city once, and returned into the camp. They did this six days.

¹⁵On the seventh day, they rose early at the dawning of the day, and marched around the city in the same way seven times. On this day only they marched around the city seven times.

¹⁶At the seventh time, when the priests blew the trumpets, Joshua said to the people, “Shout, for Yahweh has given you the city!

¹⁷The city shall be devoted, even it and all that is in it, to Yahweh. Only Rahab the prostitute shall live, she and all who are with her in the house, because she hid the messengers that we sent.

¹⁸But as for you, only keep yourselves from what is devoted to destruction, lest when you have devoted it, you take of the devoted thing; so you would make the camp of Israel accursed and trouble it.

¹⁹But all the silver, gold, and vessels of bronze and iron are holy to Yahweh. They shall come into Yahweh’s treasury.”

²⁰So the people shouted and the priests blew the trumpets. When the people heard the sound of the trumpet, the people shouted with a great shout, and the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight in front of him, and they took the city.

²¹They utterly destroyed all that was in the city, both man and woman, both young and old, and ox, sheep, and donkey, with the edge of the sword.

⁹ആയുധപാണികൾ കാഹളം ഊതുന്ന പുരോഹിതന്മാരുടെ മുമ്പിൽ നടന്നു; ശേഷമുള്ള കൂട്ടം പെട്ടകത്തിന്റെ പിന്നാലെ ചെന്നു; ഇങ്ങനെ അവർ കാഹളം ഊതിക്കൊണ്ടു നടന്നു.

¹¹അങ്ങനെ യഹോവയുടെ പെട്ടകം ഒരു പ്രാവശ്യം പട്ടണത്തെ ചുറ്റിനടന്നു; പിന്നെ അവർ പാളയത്തിലേക്കു വന്നു പാളയത്തിൽ പാർത്തു.

¹²യോശുവ അതികാലത്തേ എഴുന്നേറ്റു; പുരോഹിതന്മാർ യഹോവയുടെ പെട്ടകം എടുത്തു.

¹³ഏഴു പുരോഹിതന്മാർ യഹോവയുടെ പെട്ടകത്തിന്റെ മുമ്പിൽ ആട്ടിൻ കൊമ്പുകൊണ്ടുള്ള ഏഴു കാഹളം പിടിച്ചു കാഹളം ഊതിക്കൊണ്ടു നടന്നു; ആയുധപാണികൾ അവരുടെ മുമ്പിൽ നടന്നു; ശേഷമുള്ള കൂട്ടം യഹോവയുടെ പെട്ടകത്തിന്റെ പിന്നാലെ നടന്നു; ഇങ്ങനെ അവർ കാഹളം ഊതിക്കൊണ്ടു നടന്നു.

¹⁴രണ്ടാം ദിവസം അവർ പട്ടണത്തെ ഒരു പ്രാവശ്യം ചുറ്റീട്ടു പാളയത്തിലേക്കു മടങ്ങിപ്പോന്നു. ഇങ്ങനെ അവർ ആറു ദിവസം ചെയ്തു;

¹⁵ഏഴാം ദിവസമോ അവർ അതികാലത്തു അരുണോദയത്തിങ്കൽ എഴുന്നേറ്റു പട്ടണത്തെ ആ വിധത്തിൽ തന്നേ ഏഴുപ്രവാശ്യം ചുറ്റി; അന്നുമാത്രം അവർ പട്ടണത്തെ ഏഴു പ്രാവശ്യം ചുറ്റി.

¹⁶ഏഴാംപ്രാവശ്യം പുരോഹിതന്മാർ കാഹളം ഊതിയപ്പോൾ യോശുവ ജനത്തോടു പറഞ്ഞതെന്തെന്നാൽ: ആർപ്പിടുവിൻ ; യഹോവ പട്ടണം നിങ്ങൾക്കു തന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.

¹⁷ഈ പട്ടണവും അതിലുള്ളതൊക്കെയും യഹോവേക്കു ശപഥാർപ്പിതമായിരിക്കുന്നു; എങ്കിലും രാഹാബ് എന്ന വേശ്യ നാം അയച്ച ദൂതന്മാരെ ഒളിപ്പിച്ചതിനാൽ അവളും അവളോടുകൂടെ വീട്ടിലുള്ള എല്ലാവരും ജീവനോടിരിക്കട്ടെ.

¹⁸എന്നാൽ നിങ്ങൾ ശപഥംചെയ്തിരിക്കെ ശപഥാർപ്പിതത്തിൽ വല്ലതും എടുത്തിട്ടു യിസ്രായേൽപാളയത്തിന്നു ശാപവും അനർത്ഥവും വരുത്താതിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ശപഥാർപ്പിതമായ വസ്തുവൊന്നും തൊടാതിരിപ്പാൻ സൂക്ഷിച്ചുകൊൾവിൻ .

¹⁹വെള്ളിയും പൊന്നും ഒക്കെയും ചെമ്പും ഇരിമ്പുംകൊണ്ടുള്ള പാത്രങ്ങളും യഹോവേക്കു വിശുദ്ധം; അവ യഹോവയുടെ ഭണ്ഡാരത്തിൽ ചേരേണം.

²⁰അനന്തരം ജനം ആർപ്പിടുകയും പുരോഹിതന്മാർ കാഹളം ഊതുകയും ചെയ്തു; ജനം കാഹളനാദംകേട്ടു അത്യുച്ചത്തിൽ ആർപ്പിട്ടപ്പോൾ മതിൽ വീണു; ജനം ഔരോരുത്തൻ നേരെ മുമ്പോട്ടു പട്ടണത്തിലേക്കു കടന്നു പട്ടണം പിടിച്ചു.

²¹പുരുഷൻ , സ്ത്രീ, ബാലൻ , വൃദ്ധൻ , ആടു, മാടു, കഴുത എന്നിങ്ങനെ പട്ടണത്തിലുള്ള സകലത്തെയും അവർ വാളിന്റെ വായ്ത്തലയാൽ അശേഷം സംഹരിച്ചു.

²⁶“Brothers, children of the stock of Abraham, and those among you who fear God, the word of this salvation is sent out to you.

²⁷For those who dwell in Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they didn’t know him, nor the voices of the prophets which are read every Sabbath, fulfilled them by condemning him.

²⁸Though they found no cause for death, they still asked Pilate to have him killed.

²⁹When they had fulfilled all things that were written about him, they took him down from the tree and laid him in a tomb.

³⁰But God raised him from the dead,

³¹and he was seen for many days by those who came up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are his witnesses to the people.

³²We bring you good news of the promise made to the fathers,

³³that God has fulfilled this to us, their children, in that he raised up Jesus. As it is also written in the second psalm,

³⁴“Concerning that he raised him up from the dead, now no more to return to corruption, he has spoken thus: ‘I will give you the holy and sure blessings of David.’

³⁵Therefore he says also in another psalm, ‘You will not allow your Holy One to see decay.’

³⁶For David, after he had in his own generation served the counsel of God, fell asleep, was laid with his fathers, and saw decay.

³⁷But he whom God raised up saw no decay.

³⁸Be it known to you therefore, brothers, that through this man is proclaimed to you remission of sins;

³⁹and by him everyone who believes is justified from all things, from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses.

²⁶സഹോദരന്മാരേ, അബ്രാഹാംവംശത്തിലെ മക്കളും അവരോടു ചേർന്ന ദൈവഭക്തന്മാരുമായുള്ളാരേ, നമുക്കാകുന്നു ഈ രക്ഷാവചനം അയച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്.

²⁸മരണത്തിന്നു ഒരു ഹേതുവും കാണാഞ്ഞിട്ടും അവനെ കൊല്ലേണം എന്നു അവർ പീലാത്തൊസിനോടു അപേക്ഷിച്ചു.

²⁹അവനെക്കുറിച്ചിു എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നത് ഒക്കെയും തികെച്ചശേഷം അവർ അവനെ മരത്തിൽനിന്നു ഇറക്കി ഒരു കല്ലറയിൽ വെച്ചു.

³⁰ദൈവമോ അവനെ മരിച്ചവരിൽ നിന്നു ഉയിർത്തെഴുന്നേല്പിച്ചു;

³¹അവൻ തന്നോടുകൂടെ ഗലീലയിൽനിന്നു യെരൂശലേമിലേക്കു വന്നവർക്കും ഏറിയ ദിവസം പ്രത്യക്ഷനായി; അവർ ഇപ്പോൾ ജനത്തിന്റെ മുമ്പാകെ അവന്റെ സാക്ഷികൾ ആകുന്നു.

³²ദൈവം പിതാക്കന്മാരോടു ചെയ്ത വാഗ്ദത്തം യേശുവിനെ ഉയിർത്തെഴുന്നേല്പിച്ചതിനാൽ മക്കൾക്കു നിവർത്തിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു ഞങ്ങൾ നിങ്ങളോടു സുവിശേഷിക്കുന്നു.

³³നീ എന്റെ പുത്രൻ ; ഇന്നു ഞാൻ നിന്നെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു എന്നു രണ്ടാം സങ്കീർത്തനത്തിൽ എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നു വല്ലോ.

³⁴ഇനി ദ്രവത്വത്തിലേക്കു തിരിയാതവണ്ണം അവൻ അവനെ മരിച്ചവരിനിന്നു എഴുന്നേല്പിച്ചതിനെക്കുറിച്ചു അവൻ : ദാവീദിന്റെ സ്ഥിരമായുള്ള വിശുദ്ധ കൃപകെള ഞാൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു നലകും എന്നു പറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു

³⁵മറ്റൊരു സങ്കിർത്തനത്തിലും: നിന്റെ പരിശുദ്ധനെ ദ്രവത്വം കാണ്മാൻ നീ വിട്ടുകൊടുക്കയില്ല എന്നു പറയുന്നു.

³⁶ദാവീദ് തന്റെ തലമുറയിൽ ദൈവത്തിന്റെ ആലോചനെക്കു ശുശ്രൂഷ ചെയ്തശേഷം നിദ്ര പ്രാപിച്ചു തന്റെ പിതാക്കന്മാരോടു ചേർന്നു ദ്രവത്വം കണ്ടു.

³⁷ദൈവം ഉയിർത്തെഴുന്നേല്പിച്ചവനോ ദ്രവത്വം കണ്ടില്ല. ആകയാൽ സഹോദരന്മാരേ,

³⁸ഇവൻ മൂലം നിങ്ങളോടു പാപമോചനം അറിയിക്കുന്നു എന്നും

³⁹മോശെയുടെ ന്യായപ്രമാണത്താൽ നിങ്ങൾക്കു നീതീകരണം വരുവാൻ കഴിയാത്ത സകലത്തിൽ നിന്നും വിശ്വസിക്കുന്ന ഏവനും ഇവനാൽ നീതീകരിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു എന്നും നിങ്ങൾ അറിഞ്ഞുകൊൾവിൻ .

¹⁰Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might.

¹¹Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

¹²For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.

¹³Therefore put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

¹⁴Stand therefore, having the utility belt of truth buckled around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness,

¹⁵and having fitted your feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace,

¹⁶above all, taking up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one.

¹⁷And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;

¹⁸with all prayer and requests, praying at all times in the Spirit, and being watchful to this end in all perseverance and requests for all the saints.

¹⁹Pray for me, that utterance may be given to me in opening my mouth, to make known with boldness the mystery of the Good News,

²⁰for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

¹⁰ഒടുവിൽ കർത്താവിലും അവന്റെ അമിത ബലത്തിലും ശക്തിപ്പെടുവിൻ .

¹¹പിശാചിന്റെ തന്ത്രങ്ങളോടു എതിർത്തുനില്പാൻ കഴിയേണ്ടതിന്നു ദൈവത്തിന്റെ സർവ്വായുധവർഗ്ഗം ധരിച്ചുകൊൾവിൻ .

¹²നമുക്കു പോരാട്ടം ഉള്ളതു ജഡരക്തങ്ങളോടല്ല, വാഴ്ചകളോടും അധികാരങ്ങളോടും ഈ അന്ധകാരത്തിന്റെ ലോകാധിപതികളോടും സ്വർല്ലോകങ്ങളിലെ ദുഷ്ടാത്മസേനയോടും അത്രേ.

¹³അതുകൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങൾ ദുർദ്ദിവസത്തിൽ എതിർപ്പാനും സകലവും സമാപിച്ചിട്ടു ഉറെച്ചു നില്പാനും കഴിയേണ്ടതിന്നു ദൈവത്തിന്റെ സർവ്വായുധവർഗ്ഗം എടുത്തുകൊൾവിൻ .

¹⁴നിങ്ങളുടെ അരെക്കു സത്യം കെട്ടിയും നീതി എന്ന കവചം ധരിച്ചും

¹⁸സകലപ്രാർത്ഥനയാലും യാചനയാലും ഏതു നേരത്തും ആത്മാവിൽ പ്രാർത്ഥിച്ചും അതിന്നായി ജാഗരിച്ചും കൊണ്ടു സകലവിശുദ്ധന്മാർക്കും എനിക്കും വേണ്ടി പ്രാർത്ഥനയിൽ പൂർണ്ണസ്ഥിരത കാണിപ്പിൻ .

¹After these things, Jesus revealed himself again to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias. He revealed himself this way.

²Simon Peter, Thomas called Didymus, Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, and the sons of Zebedee, and two others of his disciples were together.

³Simon Peter said to them, “I’m going fishing.”

⁴But when day had already come, Jesus stood on the beach; yet the disciples didn’t know that it was Jesus.

⁵Jesus therefore said to them, “Children, have you anything to eat?”

⁶He said to them, “Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some.”

⁷That disciple therefore whom Jesus loved said to Peter, “It’s the Lord!”

⁸But the other disciples came in the little boat (for they were not far from the land, but about two hundred cubits away), dragging the net full of fish.

⁹So when they got out on the land, they saw a fire of coals there, with fish and bread laid on it.

¹⁰Jesus said to them, “Bring some of the fish which you have just caught.”

¹¹Simon Peter went up, and drew the net to land, full of one hundred fifty-three great fish. Even though there were so many, the net wasn’t torn.

¹²Jesus said to them, “Come and eat breakfast!”

¹³Then Jesus came and took the bread, gave it to them, and the fish likewise.

¹⁴This is now the third time that Jesus was revealed to his disciples after he had risen from the dead.

³ശിമോൻ പത്രൊസ് അവരോടു: ഞാൻ മീൻ പിടിപ്പാൻ പോകുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു; ഞങ്ങളും പോരുന്നു എന്നു അവർ പറഞ്ഞു. അവർ പുറപ്പെട്ടു പടകു കയറി പോയി; ആ രാത്രിയിൽ ഒന്നും പിടിച്ചില്ല.

⁴പുലർച്ച ആയപ്പോൾ യേശു കരയിൽ നിന്നിരുന്നു; യേശു ആകുന്നു എന്നു ശിഷ്യന്മാർ അറിഞ്ഞില്ല.

⁵യേശു അവരോടു: കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളേ, കൂട്ടുവാൻ വല്ലതും ഉണ്ടോ എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു; ഇല്ല എന്നു അവർ ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.

⁶പടകിന്റെ വലത്തുഭാഗത്തു വല വീശുവിൻ ; എന്നാൽ നിങ്ങൾക്കു കിട്ടും എന്നു അവൻ അവരോടു പറഞ്ഞു; അവർ വീശി, മീനിന്റെ പെരുപ്പം ഹേതുവായി അതു വലിപ്പാൻ കഴിഞ്ഞില്ല.

⁷യേശു സ്നേഹിച്ച ശിഷ്യൻ പത്രൊസിനോടു: അതു കർത്താവു ആകുന്നു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു; കർത്താവു ആകുന്നു എന്നു ശിമോൻ പത്രൊസ് കേട്ടിട്ടു, താൻ നഗ്നനാകയാൽ അങ്കി അരയിൽ ചുറ്റി കടലിൽ ചാടി.

⁸ശേഷം ശിഷ്യന്മാർ കരയിൽ നിന്നു ഏകദേശം ഇരുനൂറു മുഴത്തിൽ അധികം ദൂരത്തല്ലായ്കയാൽ മീൻ നിറഞ്ഞ വല ഇഴെച്ചുംകൊണ്ടു ചെറിയ പടകിൽ വന്നു.

⁹കരെക്കു ഇറെങ്ങിയപ്പോൾ അവർ തീക്കനലും അതിന്മേൽ മീൻ വെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നതും അപ്പവും കണ്ടു.

¹⁰യേശു അവരോടു: ഇപ്പോൾ പിടിച്ച മീൻ ചിലതു കൊണ്ടുവരുവിൻ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

¹¹ശിമോൻ പത്രൊസ് കയറി നൂറ്റമ്പത്തുമൂന്നു വലിയ മീൻ നിറഞ്ഞ വല കരെക്കു വലിച്ചു കയറ്റി; അത്ര വളരെ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നിട്ടും വല കീറിയില്ല.

¹²യേശു അവരോടു: വന്നു പ്രാതൽ കഴിച്ചുകൊൾവിൻ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു; കർത്താവാകുന്നു എന്നു അറിഞ്ഞിട്ടു ശിഷ്യന്മാരിൽ ഒരുത്തനും: നീ ആർ എന്നു അവനോടു ചോദിപ്പാൻ തുനിഞ്ഞില്ല.

¹³യേശു വന്നു അപ്പം എടുത്തു അവർക്കും കൊടുത്തു; മീനും അങ്ങനെ തന്നേ യേശു മരിച്ചവരിൽ നിന്നു ഉയിർത്തെഴുന്നേറ്റശേഷം ഇങ്ങനെ മൂന്നാം പ്രാവശ്യം ശിഷ്യന്മാർക്കും പ്രത്യക്ഷനായി.
